Itinerary
Proceed by private transfer to the InterContinental Real Lima Miraflores where your ocean view room waits. Tonight, savour the culinary art of chef Jaime Pesaque at SAPIENS to begin your Peru luxury journey.
Day 2 Lima
Discover Lima’s iconic landmarks, including the Cathedral, Government Palace and City Hall. Personalise Your Day with a visit to the San Francisco Monastery and catacombs, or explore the historic Casa Aliaga, lived in by the same family for 17 generations. After lunch at the iconic Casa Tambo, continue to Barranco, Lima’s bohemian quarter. Pause at the Bridge of Sighs before an exclusive visit to the private home and workshop of celebrated sculptor and painter Victor Delfín.
Day 3 Lima to Sacred Valley
A curated MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience awaits in the heart of the Sacred Valley, where Quechua scholar Nilda Callañaupa Alvarez shares the rich heritage of Cusqueñan textile weaving at the Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco. Discover her mission to preserve these ancestral techniques, then savour regional specialities at her restaurant.
Day 4 Sacred Valley
A local salt miner shares ancient salt mining techniques, passed down through generations. Uncover more of Peru’s past dining on a caja china lunch before a local shaman welcomes you to the Sacred Valley at a traditional blessing ceremony.
Day 5 Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu
Board the panoramic Vistadome train for your journey to Machu Picchu, pausing for lunch above the Vilcanota River followed by a guided walk through the lush and enchanting cloud forest. Learn the art of tea making at a working tea plantation or view the world’s largest private collection of indigenous orchids.
Day 6 Machu Picchu
Arriving at the enigmatic Machu Picchu, your Local Expert paints a picture of Incan history on the Temple of the Sun, Sacred Plaza and the Intihuatana. Feast on an Andean lunch, then soak in grand views of Machu Picchu or return to the Pueblo for a twilight nature walk showcasing sacred Pre-Inca pictographs.
Day 7 Machu Picchu to Cusco
Travel back to the Sacred Valley by train where the panoramic windows and observation outdoor carriage bring the stunning surroundings in. Then enjoy traditional Pachamanca feast of Peruvian cuisine cooked underground that will transport you back to pre-historic times. You’ll continue your trip to Cusco with a fascinating stop in the village of Lamay for a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER ® Experience. Conclude your day as you check into your five-centuries-old mansion in Cusco.
Day 8 Cusco
Begin your morning at the awe-inspiring ruins of Sacsayhuamán, a masterpiece of Incan engineering with colossal, interlocking stones and sacred towers. Delve into its storied past before curating your afternoon. Choose to meander through the artisan quarter of San Blas, discovering charming ateliers and vibrant local life, followed by a visit to the bustling San Pedro market: rich with colourful produce and authentic flavour. Or, for those drawn to nature and history, take a picturesque hike among ancient ruins scattered across Cusco’s surrounding hills. Conclude your day with an unforgettable dinner at MAP Restaurant, an intimate glass-walled sanctuary set within the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art.
Day 9 Cusco to Lake Titicaca
Board the PeruRail Titicaca for an unforgettable voyage from Cusco to Puno, crossing the majestic highlands and soaring altiplano. Relax in vintage-inspired elegance as panoramic windows frame the Peruvian Andes. Savour a refined three-course gourmet lunch and afternoon tea, enjoy live music and traditional dance, and witness a Pisco Sour demonstration in the elegant bar car.
Day 10 Lake Titicaca
A private cruise of Lake Titicaca with your Local Expert showcases the incredible man-made Uros Floating Islands made entirely of reeds. Day 11 Lake Titicaca to Lima

Day 12 Lima
Your Peruvian adventure draws to a close as you say goodbye before your private transfer to the Lima Airport.
