Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.

Day 3  Temples of Angkor
Rise early for a tour of the Angkor temples and experience this impressive complex before the crowds arrive. Wander through vine-clad Ta Prohm, discover the many faces and intricate scenes depicted in Bayon then explore the lesser visited Preah Khan. This afternoon visit Angkor Wat.

Day 4  Siem Reap
Relax with a day at leisure or book one of the many experiences available to explore fascinating Siem Reap in more depth.

Day 5  Siem Reap to Ratanakiri
Journey to the Ratanakiri province via Stung Treng and the secluded temples of Koh Ker. Later you will visit the impressive Yeak Laom. This almost perfectly circular lake in the middle of the forest was created by a volcanic eruption around 700,000 years ago. Take a walk around the lake, stopping to swim and relax in the clear waters.

Day 6  Ratanakiri
Today explore the Ratanakiri countryside. Trek through verdant forests and meet the indigenous communities who live in this rural setting and learn about their lives and traditions. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and tranquil environment.

Day 7  Ratanakiri to Mondulkiri
Continue south to Mondulkiri and check into your hotel before heading to the beautiful Bousra Ecopark, set deep in the forest. Here you can trek to the lower base of the dramatic crashing waterfalls. On the way back to town stop for lunch at a coffee plantation.

Day 8  Elephant Valley Project
Visit the Elephant Valley Project, a sanctuary set within a 3,700 acres reserve where elephants can roam and learn how to live in the wild again. Spend the day with the elephants in their natural habitat and learn about the important work taking place at the sanctuary.

Day 9  Mondulkiri to Koh Trong Island
Drive to Kratie, where you will have a short break to stroll around the town before hopping on a boat to Koh Trong Island.

Day 10  Koh Trong Island
Explore Koh Trong Island with your guide by horse and cart or bike. Later board a local boat and cruise the waterways in search of the rare Irrawaddy dolphin; this is one of the only places in the Mekong where these unique mammals can be found.

Transfer to Phnom Penh. Stop en route to explore the beautiful Nokor BaChey temple in Kampong Cham.

Days 12-13  Fly home
