Itinerary
Day 1 Fly to Kuala Lumpur
Days 2-4 Kuala Lumpur
Arrive in Malaysia’s modern capital city and transfer to your hotel. Boasting a fascinating history alongside soaring skyscrapers and endless dining and entertainment opportunities, enjoy the next three days exploring the city. Why not head to Jalan Alor food street to try the local cuisine followed by a cocktail at one of the stylish rooftop bars. Visit Merdeka Square, where Malaysia officially declared independence, and admire the beautiful Sultan Abdul Samad building. During your stay, you cannot miss the towering Petronas Towers; a trip up to the skybridge is a must for fabulous city panoramas.
Day 5 Kuala Lumpur to Pangkor Laut
Transfer to the magical Pangkor Laut by road and a short speedboat for a week of utter bliss and relaxation.
Days 6-11 Pangkor Laut
Soak up the tranquil setting and ambience on this untouched tropical island privately owned by 5H Pangkor Laut Resort. Pangkor Laut offers an unparalleled retreat with a fantastic range of facilities including a pool, gym, squash and tennis courts and an award-winning Spa Village. Day 12 Pangkor Laut to Penang
Travel back to the mainland by speedboat and continue by road to Penang. Offering a melting pot of cultures, world-renowned street food, beautiful white sand beaches and the UNESCO World Heritage listed Georgetown, Penang is a fascinating destination with endless things to do.
Days 13-14 Penang
Enjoy a couple of days to explore Penang, wandering the streets of Georgetown lined with colourful heritage houses, street art, temples and coffee shops. Alternatively, head up Penang Hill for incredible views over the island or soak up the sun on popular Batu Ferringhi Beach.
Days 15-16 Fly home
Additional Options: Whilst in Kuala Lumpur, why not add a tour to the Batu Caves, one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside of India, reached by a strikingly colourful 272 steps.
