Day 1  Fly to Kuala Lumpur

Days 2-4  Kuala Lumpur Begin your holiday in Malaysia’s eclectic capital city. Here you will find a diverse fusion of cultures with a vibrant mix of adorned mosques and temples set amongst towering skyscrapers and impressive malls. This captivating city has so much to explore; witness breathtaking views from the Petronas Towers Skybridge, wander past the landmarks of Merdeka Square and visit the famed Batu Caves.

Days 5-6  Kuala Lumpur to Sepilok
Fly to Sandakan and transfer to your jungle lodge. Visit the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre to see this curious bear species, named after their crescent shaped patch of fur, followed by the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre to learn about the fantastic work they do. Walk along the rainforest boardwalk to observe these amazing animals in their natural environment and watch their feeding session. Opt to explore the canopy walkway at the Rainforest Discovery Centre, keeping your eyes peeled for wildlife.

Days 7-8  Sepilok to Kinabatangan River
Travel to the mighty Kinabatangan River and check into your riverside lodge. Enjoy a couple of days embarking on river cruises in search of wildlife, from orangutans and proboscis monkeys to pygmy elephants and crocodiles.

Days 9-14  Kinabatangan River to Langkawi
Transfer to Sandakan for your flight to Langkawi via Kuala Lumpur. Unwind on the soft white sands set against a picturesque backdrop of untouched rainforest. This gorgeous tropical island is widely considered one of the most beautiful and pristine destinations in Asia.

Days 15-16  Fly home
