Day 1  Fly to Bangkok

Day 2-4  Bangkok
A sprawling metropolis and the capital city of Thailand, Bangkok is a melting pot of cultures and a thriving hub of activity. Take to the streets by tuk-tuk, enjoy a leisurely cruise on a riverboat taxi or get above the bustling city on board the SkyTrain, there are plenty of ways to explore. A private guide will help you gather your bearings as you navigate Bangkok and visit the unmissable sights of the decadent Grand Palace and the reclining Buddha statue of Wat Pho.

Days 5-8  Bangkok to Chiang Mai
This morning, transfer to the airport for a short flight to Chiang Mai. This historic city is nestled in some of the most beautiful mountain scenery Thailand has to offer, with swathes of rice fields and thickets of jungle, the natural landscape blends with the laidback atmosphere and modern conveniences. Walk the cobbled roads of Chiang Mai old town, fortified by historic walls, before heading to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, a prominent religious landmark notable for its golden chedi and panoramic views of the valley below. Venture out of the city to admire the striking landscapes and hidden temple of Wat Pha Lat or stay and stroll through the famous markets that line the city’s streets.

Days 9-15  Chiang Mai to Koh Samui
After a transfer to the airport and a two hour flight, the island paradise of Koh Samui will be your home for the last seven nights. The second largest island in Thailand, Koh Samui is renowned for its sugar-white beaches, azure coastline, lush jungles and vibrant towns. Feel the sand between your toes on the palm fringed beaches or hike to one of the many cascading waterfalls and breathtaking  viewpoints that adorn this island. If you want a glimpse of the local life, head into Fisherman’s Village where you will be greeted by a blend of historical charm and lively character. Peruse the many boutique traditional wooden shophouses and the famous night markets.

Days 16-17  Fly home
