Bangkok, Khao Sok & Phuket

Day 1  Fly to Bangkok

Days 2-4  Bangkok      
Arrive in Bangkok and transfer to your hotel. A sprawling metropolis and the capital city of Thailand, Bangkok is a melting pot of cultures and a thriving hub of activity. This afternoon perhaps check out the fantastic markets and restaurants or simply relax by the pool or at a rooftop bar. Why not get to know Bangkok like a local as you take to the streets by tuk-tuk, enjoy a leisurely cruise on a riverboat taxi or get above the bustling city onboard the SkyTrain. Stop en route at the unmissable sights of the decadent Grand Palace and the reclining Buddha statue of Wat Pho.

Day 5  Bangkok to Khao Sok National Park      
This morning transfer to the airport for a flight to Phuket followed by a transfer to your hotel in Khao Sok National Park. This picturesque national park is home to towering limestone cliffs, glistening emerald lakes and one of the world’s oldest rainforests, teeming with exotic wildlife.

Days 6-7  Khao Sok National Park      
The park’s breathtaking landscapes make it a paradise for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. Stay at a floating camp and kayak through the shimmering waters of Cheow Larn Lake or explore the verdant rainforest on foot, learning about this wonderful destination and its inhabitants. Perhaps traverse this otherworldly landscape on a local long-tail boat, gliding through the waters on the lookout for hornbills flying above or the distinct rustle of the canopy, a tell-tale sign of monkeys such as dusky langurs and macaques. For those lucky enough, you may even chance a sighting of elephants coming to the waters edge to drink and forage.

Day 8  Khao Sok National Park to Phuket      
Today, transfer to your beach hotel in Phuket. The largest Island in Thailand, Phuket is well known for its sandy beaches, Sino-Portugese architecture and 19th Century shophouses which are now a bustling hub of activity.

Days 9-14  Phuket      
You will be spoiled for choice by the array of activities on offer. Explore the quieter beachfront of Bang Tao which stretches for over 6km and is a perfect place to take in the magnificent coastline on the east side of Phuket. Alternatively head to the west side of the island where atmospheric Phuket Old Town comes to life with its brightly painted century-old townhouses and endless local vendors. For panoramic views, the towering white marble statue of the Big Buddha is an imposing landmark that represents peace and spirituality in Thailand. Alternatively, you can just unwind in your hotel, by the pool sipping cocktails or making the most of the facilities.

Days 15-16  Fly home
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
