Day 1  Fly to Hanoi

Day 2  Hanoi    
Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to your hotel. The capital of Vietnam, this is the perfect place to immerse yourself in culture, discover fascinating history, and savour authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

Day 3  Hanoi    
Explore the highlights of this wonderful city on a private tour. See the iconic Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda, before learning about Vietnam’s history at a museum. After lunch, walk past the impressive Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the house on stilts where Ho Chi Minh once lived, whilst learning about the life of this famous figure of Vietnamese history. Stroll through the charming streets of the Old Quarter, then conclude your day with a Water Puppet show, witnessing this ancient art depicting Vietnamese folk stories as well as traditional life.

Day 4  Hanoi to Halong Bay    
Today, venture to spectacular Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its emerald waters punctuated by towering limestone karsts. The best way to experience this natural wonder is by water, so board the lovely 4★ Orchid Classic for a one-night cruise around the bay. Explore expansive cave systems and sandy beaches or relax on the deck of this comfortable boat as you soak in the scenery.

Day 5  Halong Bay to Hoi An    
Transfer to Hanoi airport and fly south to Da Nang. From the airport, transfer to your resort on the lovely central Vietnam coastline, just a short drive from the historic town of Hoi An.

Day 6  Hoi An    
Unwind at your lovely beach resort, lounging beside the pool or wandering along the white sands of Cua Dai beach. Perhaps try some of the activities available at the resort, such as exploring the surroundings by kayak or playing a game of beach volleyball.

Day 7  Hoi An    
Discover the highlights of central Vietnam on a guided excursion today. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of My Son, a complex of abandoned Hindu temples built by the Champa Kingdom. Afterwards, visit Hoi An’s captivating old town, stopping for lunch before exploring the traditional buildings, elaborately decorated Chinese communal hall and lantern-lit lanes of this delightful city.

Days 8-9  Hoi An  
Indulge in a couple of days of relaxation at the resort or exploring more of the surroundings at your own pace.

Day 10  Hoi An    
Taste the delicious flavours of Vietnam with an included cooking class. Start with a visit to the local market where you will pick up the freshest ingredients. Learn to make traditional Vietnamese dishes before savouring your wonderful creations for lunch.

Day 11  Hoi An    
Enjoy a final day at leisure, soaking up the sun from the beautiful beach.

Days 12-13  Fly home
