Itinerary
Fly from Hanoi to Dong Hoi and transfer to the town of Phong Nha, an incredible area surrounded by dramatic karst mountains and unspoilt green jungle.
Day 2 Phong Nha NP
Travel by private boat along the scenic Son River to the mouth of the caves. Explore mystical tunnels, filled with giant stalactites, stalagmites, and crystal clear waters. Later drive to Paradise Cave, one of the largest and most impressive in the area. Climb over 500 stairs to enter the vast cave and wander the mile long wooden walkway.
Day 3 Phong Nha to Hue
Head south to Hue, passing charming villages and beautiful beaches along the way. Stop to visit the Vinh Moc Tunnels, an impressive 1.7 mile tunnel system built to escape bombardment during the Second World War. Arrive in Hue for your onward arrangements.
