72 Hours in Abu Dhabi

Day 1  Khor Al Maqta  
Just a short transfer from the airport takes you to the palatial Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi where you will begin your three night adventure. Located on the banks of Khor Al Maqta, this luxury resort is set amidst 57 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and benefits from its own private beach and a plethora of outstanding facilities.  

Day 2  The City  
After breakfast you will be met and escorted on a half day city tour which takes in the city’s main attractions. Discover the contrast of historic Islamic architecture and gleaming modern skyscrapers. A definite highlight is the spectacular Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the largest and most ornate in the world. Continue on to the charming Heritage Village which offers a glimpse into Abu Dhabi life before the discovery of oil and features a reconstruction of a traditional Bedouin camp. A visit to one or more of the city’s traditional souks is included before returning to your hotel.    

Day 3  The Desert  
A morning at leisure allows time to visit impressive Louvre Abu Dhabi to explore its extraordinary collection of art before heading into the Arabian desert for a thrilling 4WD dune drive. Watch the sun set over the dramatic landscape before tucking into a delicious barbecue dinner at an atmospheric desert camp.  Relax on comfy cushions under the starlit sky whilst enjoying traditional Arabian hospitality. If you’re feeling adventurous, enjoy sandboarding down the red sand slopes before transferring back to the city.  

Day 4  Khor Al Maqta  
Enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading back to the airport for your flight.
