Day 1  Amman                    
Fly to Amman and transfer to your hotel.                    

Day 2  Amman                    
After a relaxing morning exploring at your leisure or unwinding in the comfort of your hotel, discover the highlights of the city of Amman. Visit the ruins of the hilltop Citadel and the impressive Roman Amphitheatre. Enjoy a wander through the city’s vibrant souks before heading to West Amman and atmospheric Rainbow Street, with a stop at a local shop for a tasting of Knafeh (a Levantine cheese pastry soaked in sweet syrup).                  

Day 3  Amman                
Depart this morning for an exciting day of exploring some of the historic sites just north of Amman. Visit the ancient city of Jerash, one of the best preserved classical cities in the region. Enjoy a wander around the remarkable ancient ruins before a drive through scenic pine forests and olive groves to reach Ajloun Castle. Later you will head to a local bakery to try out some scrumptious Jordanian delicacies and you will also have the opportunity to make your own Jordanian bread.                    

Day 4  Amman to Petra                
Drive to Madaba – the ‘City of Mosaics,’ famous for its collection of Byzantine-era mosaics. Continue to Mount Nebo and Shoubak Castle en route to the city of Petra.  

Day 5  Petra                
Today discover the world famous UNESCO World Heritage Site of Petra, thought to be one of the world's most famous and awe-inspiring archaeological sites. Enjoy a guided tour around this incredible wonder before exploring the vast network of hidden passages, fascinating tombs and palaces at your leisure.

Day 6  Petra to Wadi Rum  
Today you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the incredible, otherworldly dunes of Wadi Rum. Voyage through the many towering sandstone mountains and narrow canyons of this magnificent desert wilderness on a thrilling 4WD safari. Enjoy a night at a desert camp under the magnificent starry skies.      

Day 7  Wadi Rum to Dead Sea        
Transfer to the glistening shores of the Dead Sea and check in at your hotel perched on the banks.

Day 8  Dead Sea              
Spend today at leisure. Why not go for a float in the majestic Dead Sea waters?        
                   
Day 9  Dead Sea to Amman            
Bid farewell to the Dead Sea and travel back to Amman airport for your onward arrangements.
