Boston to Montreal - Exploring the Great Outdoors

Days 1-3  Boston, USA  
Spend your first few days exploring the iconic American city of Boston, with its picturesque skyline, historic landmarks and charming neighbourhoods. The Freedom Trail, Beacon Hill and the bustling waterfront are all easy to explore on foot.      

Day 4  Boston to North Conway      
Collect your car and journey through rural New Hampshire towards the friendly town of North Conway, your gateway to the majestic White Mountains.    

Day 5  White Mountains        
Drive through spectacular scenery on the Kancamagus Highway, keeping your eyes peeled for moose. Hike along the granite rock formations of Flume Gorge seeking out waterfalls, or perhaps travel to the summit of Mount Washington on a cog railway.        

Day 6  North Conway to Stowe        
Cross into the state of Vermont, home to pristine countryside dotted with rolling hills and tiny towns. The quintessential village of Stowe is clustered around a picture-perfect white church with a lofty steeple.      

Day 7  Stowe        
Wander through Stowe village, exploring the quaint shops and sample locally made cider, cheese and maple syrup. Or head out on hiking and biking trails to soak up the alpine vistas.

Day 8  Stowe to Orford/Bromont, Canada      
Today journey across the border into Canada, and through the pastoral beauty of Southern Québec. This region is an outdoor enthusiast and artist’s dream, thriving on its closeness to nature and impressive landscapes.    

Day 9  Orford/Bromont        
From hiking and biking to horse riding and wine tasting, there are many ways to enjoy the great outdoors which surround the Eastern Townships of Orford and Bromont.        

Day 10  Orford/Bromont to Montréal        
A short drive through the suburbs of Montréal provides ample time to drop off your car and discover the many delights of this vibrant city.

Days 11-12  Montréal        
From the grand architecture of Old Montreal to the seductive mix of cultures and thriving gastronomy scene, there is plenty to explore before your holiday comes to an end.
