Itinerary
Days 1-4 New York
Fly to New York City, where iconic landmarks and vibrant neighbourhoods await. Start in Times Square and experience its electric energy and bright lights, perhaps catch a Broadway show, where world-class theatre takes centre stage. For a feeling of serenity explore Central Park’s many scenic trails by foot or bike, boat on the lakes and discover hidden gems like Bethesda Terrace. Walk the famous Brooklyn Bridge for stunning views of the Manhattan skyline, and experience Brooklyn’s trendy Williamsburg for vintage shopping, craft breweries and lively nightlife. For a slice of nostalgia, head to Coney Island with its historic boardwalk, classic amusement rides and seaside charm. Back in Manhattan visit the High Line, an elevated park built on a former rail line where you can enjoy unique gardens, art installations and sweeping city views. Whilst in the area roam Chelsea, known for its galleries and bustling market or Hudson Yards featuring The Edge, this towering skyscraper has the highest outdoor observation deck in the western hemisphere!
Days 5-7 Boston
Today board Amtrak’s Acela at Penn Station and enjoy a scenic ride as you make your way to Boston, one of America’s oldest cities. Known for its pivotal role in the American Revolution why not begin by walking the historic Freedom Trail passing Boston Common, Faneuil Marketplace and Paul Revere’s House. For a taste of Boston’s past wander through the charming cobblestone streets of Beacon Hill lined with beautifully preserved red brick houses and gas-lit lamps. In Back Bay, trade traditional for trendy on Newbury Street, filled with boutiques, cafes, and art galleries. Don’t skip the Boston Public Library boasting stunning Renaissance design and one of the largest book collections in the country. No trip to Boston is complete without indulging in fresh seafood and the Waterfront with its stunning harbour views and energetic piers is the perfect place to savour it.
