Gulf Coasting

Days 1-2  Tampa
Fly to sunny Tampa and upon arrival, pick up your car and drive to your hotel. Meander or cycle down the Tampa Riverwalk or go paddle boarding along the tranquil bay. The following day, step back in time on your included tour in quirky Ybor City, home to cigar factories, free roaming chickens and the oldest restaurant in Florida!

Days 3-6  Tampa to Clearwater
Next, drive to relaxed Clearwater Beach. The sugar white sands here are regularly voted one of the finest beaches in America and the peaceful ocean reflects awe-inspiring sunsets. Alternatively, choose to stay at St Pete Beach where you can enjoy the four miles that make up this family-orientated resort. Head to downtown St Petersburg, home to a burgeoning collection of galleries including the excellent Dalí museum.

Days 7-10  Clearwater to Sarasota
Drive to Sarasota, Florida’s cultural capital. Soak up art, music and theatre as well as exploring its powdery sand beaches. Out of town, enjoy some bird watching at Celery Fields, or explore Myakka River State Park’s jungle-like hiking trails and canopy walkway.

Days 11-14  Sarasota to Naples
Head south to Naples where its pristine shores are aptly known as The Paradise Coast. Indulge in the exclusive restaurants and designer shops of 5th Avenue. With its tree-lined streets and sidewalk cafés this elegant city is the perfect place to enjoy Florida’s refined side. Naples is also on the doorstep of Everglades National Park, so perhaps spend a day in this unique wetland wilderness, where cypress trees are draped with Spanish moss and alligators roam beneath the surface.

Days 15-16  Fly home
Drive to Miami airport and drop off your car in time for your flight home.
