Deep South Encompassed

Days 1-2  Atlanta  
Fly to Atlanta, a modern city with an intriguing past from the Civil War to the Civil Rights Movement.    

Day 3  Atlanta to Nashville    
Cross the border into Tennessee, stopping at Chattanooga for lunch, before heading on to Music City.

Days 4-5  Nashville  
Soak up the sounds of the city at the famous Grand Ole Opry. Hop on board the General Jackson Showboat for an evening of entertainment.    

Day 6  Nashville to Memphis    
Drive on to legendary Memphis, birthplace of rock‘n’roll.  

Day 7  Memphis    
Visit Graceland, as well as Sun Studio where Elvis laid down his first tracks. In the evening, hit the live music venues on buzzing Beale Street.    

Day 8  Memphis to Natchez    
Head south into Mississippi and arrive at the delightful riverside city of Natchez. En route, break your journey with a moving visit to the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum in Jackson.    

Day 9  Natchez    
Boasting a rich history and beautiful antebellum mansions, Natchez is the oldest settlement on the Mississippi River.

Day 10  Natchez to Lafayette    
Uncover Lafayette’s authentic Cajun culture and sprawling swamp landscapes. Day 11 Lafayette to New Orleans There’s no other city in the world quite like ‘N’awlins’! It boasts a vibrant blend of cultures, history and music.    

Days 12-13  New Orleans    
Wander around the picturesque French Quarter and enjoy the bars on Bourbon Street, or take a trip down the river on an authentic steamboat.

Day 14  New Orleans to Mobile    
Continue to laidback Alabama, and the historic port city of Mobile.    

Day 15  Mobile to Montgomery    
Montgomery is steeped in history and the city played a crucial role in the Civil Rights Movement.  

Day 16  Montgomery to Jekyll Island    
Drive across Georgia’s countryside until you reach the beautiful sandy beaches of Jekyll Island.

Day 17  Jekyll Island    
Enjoy a stroll along the waterfront and relax on the beach.

Day 18  Jekyll Island to Savannah
Further north along the coast is the wonderful city of Savannah.    

Days 19-20  Savannah    
Explore the delightful cobbled streets on a horse drawn carriage and admire the lovely antebellum architecture of this riverside city. Just out of town, Tybee Island offers stunning coastline with an eclectic foodie scene.

Days 21-22  Fly home    
Drive back to Atlanta and drop off your car in time for your flight home.
