California Cruising - Cruise America

Day 1  San Francisco    
Welcome to San Francisco, home for the next three nights.    

Days 2-3  San Francisco  
Discover the highlights of this diverse and picturesque city as you head out on a fantastic hop-on hop-off bus tour.  Visit the haunting fortress of Alcatraz and explore the restaurants and attractions of Fisherman’s Wharf.    

Day 4  San Francisco to Lake Tahoe    
Pick up your motorhome today and drive to beautiful Lake Tahoe. This evening, enjoy views over the lake as the sun sets while relaxing at your campsite.    

Day 5  Lake Tahoe    
Spend a full day exploring the surrounds of the lake. Be sure to visit Emerald Bay and perhaps, hike one of the trails or relax on the beach.    

Day 6  Lake Tahoe to Yosemite NP    
Head south to the granite peaks and wildflower meadows of Yosemite National Park.    

Day 7  Yosemite NP    
The stunning natural beauty of this famous national park is truly awe-inspiring. Spend the day hiking one of the many trails, visit Glacier Point, admire Yosemite Falls and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for native wildlife.  

Days 8-9  Sequoia NP  
Continue heading down to Sequoia National Park. Visit the enormous General Sherman Sequoia tree standing over 83m tall with a base circumference of over 30m!    

Day 10  Sequoia NP to Santa Barbara    
Continue to the beachside town of Santa Barbara. With its relaxed atmosphere, beautiful architecture and excellent restaurants, this is an ideal place to unwind.    

Day 11  Santa Barbara    
Enjoy a day at leisure to relax and soak up laidback Santa Barbara, perhaps visit the lovely long, sandy beach and catch some rays.    

Day 12  Santa Barbara to Paso Robles
Travel north to Paso Robles, home to wonderful wineries. Why not head to Paso’s historic downtown and visit one of the many wine tasting rooms.    

Day 13  Paso Robles to Santa Cruz    
Travel along the scenic Highway 1 to enjoy your afternoon in the surfer town of Santa Cruz. Perhaps take a leisurely walk along the waterfront. Marvel at the natural beauty of Big Sur all around you.    

Day 14  Santa Cruz    
Relax on the sandy beaches, explore the lively boardwalk or head out on the water in search of migrating whales.  

Days 15-16  Fly home    
Drive to San Francisco where you will drop off your motorhome before your flight home.
