Itinerary
Fly to San Francisco, the Golden City. The city’s position adds to its charm, clustered on steep hills and surrounded by the waters of San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Spend the next couple of days exploring, perhaps cycle over Golden Gate Bridge, discover the array of seafood restaurants at Fisherman’s Wharf or tour the iconic Alcatraz.
Day 4 San Francisco to Sequoia NP
Pick up your car and drive inland to start your national parks adventure.
Day 5 Sequoia & Kings Canyon NP
Sequoia and neighbouring Kings Canyon national parks have some of California’s finest alpine scenery and hundreds of giant trees; the biggest being over 80 metres high and 30 metres wide! Drive along the scenic Generals Highway and soak up the view from Panoramic Point.
Day 6 Sequoia NP to Yosemite NP
Today, drive north to another one of America’s most popular national parks, Yosemite.
Day 7 Yosemite NP
Spend a day in the mesmerising natural beauty of Yosemite. Visit the iconic, towering granite cliffs of El Capitan and Half Dome before wandering the contrasting Tuolumne Meadows.
Day 8 Yosemite NP to Death Valley NP
Leave behind the magnificent lushness of Yosemite and drive to the spectacular land of Death Valley.
Day 9 Death Valley NP
This incredible 3 million acre National Park is famous for being the lowest, driest and hottest place in North America. Don’t miss icons such as Dante’s View, Zabriskie Point and Devil’s Golf Course.
Day 10 Death Valley NP to Las Vegas
After an amazing few days experiencing magical natural settings, it’s time to drive to Las Vegas and let your hair down Vegas style!
Day 11 Las Vegas
Billed as the ‘Entertainment Capital of the World’, explore the famous four mile Strip, lined with buzzing casino hotels,and endless restaurants. Located close to the Grand Canyon, why not add on an exciting helicopter tour so you can view this spectacular natural wonder?
Days 12-13 Fly home
Drive to Las Vegas airport and drop off your car in time for your flight home.
