Houston & San Antonio: Rockets & Riverwalks

Day 1  Houston          
Touchdown in Houston, the fourth largest city in the USA and home to the famous Space Centre, inspiring museums, world class dining and beautiful green spaces.

Days 2-4  Houston  
Start by indulging in some mouth-watering barbecue delicacies, then take a stroll through the Historic Heights, with pleasant temperatures in the winter making it a year round destination. Venture downtown during your stay and discover a thriving professional arts scene or take a break from the bustle of the city and head to the slow-moving Buffalo Bayou River, a 160 acre urban oasis on the banks of Houston.

Day 5  Houston to San Antonio        
Journey on to beautiful San Antonio, a city steeped in history and heritage and basking in Southern charm.

Days 6-8  San Antonio  
Stroll along the San Antonio Riverwalk, a stunning waterway dotted with restaurants, shops and lively bars, or pay a moving visit to the Alamo, one of the most important memorials in the USA and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Perhaps check out the nearby San Antonio Zoo, or simply relax at the stunning Japanese Tea Garden. Market Square is home to a plethora of fantastic art museums where San Antonio’s creative community never ceases to amaze – and an eclectic cuisine offers a diverse array of culinary delights, from Italian to Chinese and of course the city’s most iconic fusion, Tex-Mex!
