Canyon Spirit Rockies to the Red Rocks (Salt Lake City to Denver)

Day 1  Canyon Spirit        
Embark on an unforgettable three-day rail journey as you board the luxurious Canyon Spirit in Salt Lake City. Meander through the quaint town of Spanish Fork, the oldest Icelandic settlement in the United States, set against the backdrop of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains. Enter Red Canyon and admire the otherworldly sandstone stacks, before crossing the Soldier Summit via a series of horseshoe curves known as the Gilluly Loops. You will then descend into the stunning Price Canyon, passing the ghost town of Castle Gate and the western portion of the Book Cliffs, before arriving at the scenic town of Moab, where you will spend the night in a hotel.

Day 2  Canyon Spirit        
Wake up and enjoy a morning at leisure exploring the gateway to the Red Rocks, Moab. Board the Canyon Spirit and depart for the geological landmark of Mount Garfield, the pinnacle of the striking Book Cliffs, which mark the transition from Utah to Colorado. Continue northeast through the unique stair-step layered cliffs of De Beque Canyon, finishing your day in Glenwood Springs where you will spend the night at a hotel.

Day 3  Canyon Spirit        
Today, follow along the Upper Colorado River, keeping your eyes peeled for the array of wildlife that call Glenwood Canyon home. As you traverse further along the Colorado River, you will pass between the magnificent spectacles of Byers and Gore canyons before crossing the Continental Divide through the remarkable Moffat Tunnel. Heading east past the engineering marvel of the Big 10 Curve, you will eventually reach the last stop on your adventure, Denver.
