Utah's Mighty 5 National Parks

Day 1  Salt Lake City  
Fly into Salt Lake City and pick up your car on arrival. Start exploring this attractive city with a striking mountain backdrop.  

Day 2  Salt Lake City to Capitol Reef NP
Start your exciting journey and drive south to Capitol Reef National Park.  

Day 3  Capitol Reef NP  
Explore the park’s evocative landscape of expansive coloured cliffs and sweeping vistas on the 25 mile Capitol Reef Scenic Drive.  

Days 4-5  Bryce Canyon NP  
Drive further south to Bryce Canyon’s surreal and stunning landscape. Wake early to catch sunrise and watch the light of dawn vividly transform the colours of the sandstone formations.  

Day 6  Bryce Canyon NP to Zion NP  
Continue onto remarkable Zion National Park, known for its majestic sandstone cliffs and deep canyons.  

Day 7  Zion NP  
Dramatically carved by water and time, Zion Canyon is the centrepiece of this astounding park. Sheer cliffs rise dramatically from the beautiful canyon floor,showcasing stunning, colourful layers of ancient rock. Another iconic feature is the majestic slot canyon, known as the Zion Narrows. Why not wade through the Virgin River section on an exciting hike?  

Day 8  Zion NP to Lake Powell  
Continue exploring Zion’s canyons and high plateaus, looking out for more than 200 bird species before driving to Lake Powell. If time permits, drive to Vermilion Cliffs National Monument to see the petroglyphs carved into the canyon walls.  

Day 9  Lake Powell  
Arizona’s sunny retreat of Lake Powell has a plethora of water activities, hiking opportunities and lakeside dining.

Day 10  Lake Powell to Monument Valley  
Continue to Monument Valley, famed for its towering sandstone buttes and mesas that rise dramatically from the desert floor.  

Day 11  Monument Valley to Moab
Visit the remote Needles district of Canyonlands National Park, which boasts the park’s best hiking trails and fewest visitors, before travelling on to friendly Moab, a hub for outdoor adventure.  

Day 12  Canyonlands NP  
From your base in Moab, head into Canyonlands National Park to drive to the beautiful loop of Islands in the Sky.  

Day 13  Arches NP  
Visit the amazing desert landscape of Arches National Park today, home to the largest proliferation of natural stone arches in the world. Join a guided 4WD tour to discover over 2,000 arches including towering Landscape Arch, and the iconic Delicate Arch, both accessible on easy hikes.  

Day 14  Moab to Salt Lake City  
This morning head back to Salt Lake City for your final night.  

Days 15-16  Fly home  
Drive to the airport and drop off your car in time for your flight home.
