About the villa

Just steps away from the shores of Mahoe Bay, Sandcastle enjoys one of Virgin Gorda's most sought-after beachfront locations. Calm, clear waters and a wide stretch of soft white sand sit just beyond the garden, creating an easy-going setting for days spent swimming, snorkelling and enjoying the bay's natural beauty.

Designed in a traditional British West Indies style, the villa centres around a timber-vaulted living/dining area that opens onto a broad covered verandah overlooking the gardens and sea. With relaxed seating areas and a large dining table positioned beneath the shade, this generous outdoor space becomes a natural gathering point from morning coffee through to long, leisurely dinners.

The villa's 12m free-form swimming pool sits just steps from the beach, while the jacuzzi is tucked away amongst tropical greenery, creating a more secluded spot to unwind. For those keen to make the most of the waterfront setting, glass-bottom kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and snorkelling equipment provide a different perspective of Mahoe Bay's calm waters. Back on shore, lawn games, table tennis and complimentary access to nearby tennis courts offer entertainment for guests of all ages, while the outdoor kitchen, wet bar and hybrid gas and charcoal grill make relaxed poolside lunches and sunset drinks easy to arrange.

Rather than being arranged under one roof, the accommodation is spread across a series of individual pavilions, creating a sense of space and privacy throughout the property. The master bedroom is located on the ground floor of the main house, opening onto a jacuzzi terrace and featuring an en suite shower room. While four additional king-size bedrooms are positioned independently within the north, south and garden pavilions, each with an en suite bathroom and opening onto a terrace. 

Despite its peaceful beachfront setting, Sandcastle remains conveniently close to local amenities, with Sugarcane Restaurant less than two kilometres away and the shops, marina and restaurants of Spanish Town reachable within a ten-minute drive.
