About the villa

Tucked away in the storybook village of Le Rouret, Mas Cicadas is a 19th-century stone mas that welcomes up to six people to experience the timeless beauty of the south of France. The villa’s character is rooted in its surroundings: century-old olive trees, the hum of cicadas, and views that stretch towards the distant Riviera coastline. With a twelve-metre pool glistening under the Mediterranean sun, a pétanque court for leisurely afternoons, and fragrant gardens steeped in tradition, Mas Cicadas is an ode to the region’s natural grace. Perfectly situated, the villa offers both seclusion and easy access to Valbonne’s bustling markets, Cannes’ glamour, and Antibes’ coastal allure.

Inside, every detail has been considered to reflect the villa’s authentic Provençal heritage, whilst maintaining a modern feel. The ground floor welcomes guests with a cosy sitting and dining area centred around a traditional fireplace, where sunlight pours in through French doors that open onto the garden. The kitchen is ideal for preparing fresh local produce, while the adjoining covered terrace sets the stage for al fresco dining beneath wooden beams entwined with greenery. Upstairs, the bedrooms are serene sanctuaries dressed in soft earth tones, with rattan chairs, handcrafted wooden tables, and Provençal patterns adding texture and warmth. Tiled bathrooms in gentle shades of blue and pink bring a playful elegance to the villa’s interiors, whilst an airy, spacious, and versatile mezzanine with plenty of daylight, can be used as an exercise room for yoga or Pilates, a TV room, or a children's play area.
