About the villa
La Lavandaia, one of several villas in Borgo Pignano, Tuscany, is a beautifully restored country estate surrounded by olive groves, orchards, meadows and lakes. Truly a haven of peace and tranquility, the villa offers a range of activities and food options alike for guests to enjoy at their own leisure. Tuscany’s cultural identity is truly woven all throughout the resort.
Step inside the villa through the elegant open plan living room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen, relishing in the natural light that graciously flows from room to room. The two large master bedrooms, both with their own private en suite, have been meticulously designed to ensure a serene, comfortable stay for all guests at all times. Outside, the partially covered terrace boasts unrivalled views of the rolling hills of Tuscany, presenting an idyllic spot for guests to enjoy morning, midday or evening meals before an awe-inspiring backdrop. Steps lead down to the large infinity pool.
For a chance to try the best of the local cuisine during your stay, enjoy Michelin Star dining from Stefano Cavallini at the Hotel restaurant, where food has been sourced locally. The Valdarno chickens that roam among the olives provide free-range eggs; the Cinta Sensese pigs yield aged prosciuttos, the bees yield honey, and the vineyards provide wine.
