About the villa

Nestled close to Florence in the Chianti area, Le Cascine is a wonderful historic country villa ideal for group getaways with family and friends. This property has been beautifully restored and furnished with a combination of contemporary and authentic decor, paired with charming beamed ceilings and modern artwork. On the ground floor, guests can head through the entrance hall to discover a lovely open plan living room with a dining area, as well as a fully-equipped kitchen opening to the shady dining terrace. Two double bedrooms can be accessed via a few steps, each kitted with an en suite. The first floor features two further spots to relax; a sitting area and hall with cosy armchairs. Four double bedrooms and a single can also be found here, each with a shower room en suite.

The villa is surrounded by large gardens, ideal for garden parties and special celebrations. The large, private pool is perfectly positioned among wide lawns, vineyards and olive groves. This property, set in the heart of Tuscany, is about 1.5km away from the quaint town of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. It is the perfect base for sightseeing, and within driving distance of Florence, vineyards in Chianti and the towns of  Volterra, San Gimignano and Siena. The closest airport can be found in Florence, just 39km from the villa.
