The beaches here are renowned as the best the country has to offer and boast soft golden sand, tropical palms and calm waters; all of which can be enjoyed between October and mid May. Bustling North Goa remains ever popular for a traditional beach holiday whilst the peaceful beaches of South Goa offer a more sleepy tourist scene.
