Koh Samui Holidays
asia
As Thailand’s second largest island, Koh Samui holidays cater to every type of traveller. Whether you’re seeking vibrant nightlife, family-friendly resorts or peaceful seclusion, you’ll find it here. Chaweng Beach boasts a stunning 7km stretch of soft white sand and a lively atmosphere, along with a wide selection of great-value accommodation. For a more traditional feel, Bo Phut’s Fisherman’s Village offers charming beachfront dining, boutique shops and a relaxed evening vibe. If tranquillity is your priority, the quieter shores of Choeng Mon and Mae Nam provide the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy a slower pace of island life.
Beyond its beaches, Koh Samui holidays open the door to unforgettable island-hopping adventures. The island serves as a gateway to nearby gems such as Koh Phangan, famous for its beautiful beaches and vibrant Full Moon Party, and Koh Tao, renowned for its world-class scuba diving and vibrant marine life. Both are just a short boat ride away, making it easy to combine multiple destinations into one seamless Thailand itinerary.
Whether you’re looking to relax in a luxury beachfront resort, explore hidden coves, or experience the rich culture and cuisine of southern Thailand, Koh Samui holidays deliver an unforgettable tropical escape with something for everyone.
Trailfinders is the UK's No.1 Leisure Tour Operator for Thailand holidays* and our expert travel consultants are mine of information about what to do here, often with first-hand travel experience. Whether you want to explore Koh Samui at a lively resort, in a luxurious hotel or a family friendly hotel with lots of facilities – they are the perfect people to ask.

Fisherman's Village is well worth a visit when you're in Koh Samui. There's a food market four nights a week, and fire shows are on every night at the beach with the last one starting at 9pm. So it's worth getting down early for a good spot at a beach bar!

Download the Grab app if you're staying in Koh Samui - it's the Thai version of Uber, and taxis are cheap, fast and reliable.
