Journey

The legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express train offers a travel experience like no other. Paris to Venice

Historic carriages await to whisk you away from beautiful Paris to the canals of Venice. Step into a world of glamour as you embark just before dinner. Enjoy the gourmet food on offer as the French countryside takes shape and the lights of the city are left behind. Spend the evening at Bar Car 3674, socialising with other guests or in the comfort of your private cabin. As you awake, the mountainous landscape of Italy has come to the fore and, all too soon, the train slows as you arrive into Venice late afternoon.

Paris to Florence

Depart on a decadent journey from Paris, the City of Light for a night of peerless luxury, arriving in Florence the following morning. Make your way to one of the opulent 1920s dining cars and delight in a sumptuous four course dinner, a table d’hôte menu infused with Chef Jean Imbert’s imagination. After dinner, relax with melodic tunes in Bar Car 3674 from the resident pianist or retire to your own luxurious, private cabin. Awake in the morning and enjoy breakfast while you admire the breathtaking Italian scenery. After a delicious lunch, be greeted by picturesque views of Florence’s impressive skyline.

Amsterdam to Venice

From one city of canals to another, step aboard and allow yourself to be transported to a world of timeless indulgence. Settle into your cabin as your steward caters to your every need. Life on Board

The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, A Belmond Train’s cabins have been beautifully restored and provide a refined setting to enjoy the passing scenery and exemplary on board service. Dining on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, A Belmond Train is a special highlight with lunch, dinner and brunch served in one of three elegantly restored restaurant cars, each uniquely designed. Breakfast and afternoon tea are served in your cabin, providing an intimate experience.

Bar Car 3674 is a wonderful place to relax before or after dinner, where you can enjoy a cocktail and listen to the tinkling of the baby grand piano. Jazz classics abound and the social atmosphere is entrancing. There is also a small boutique on board offering Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, A Belmond Train themed gifts. Create treasured memories on board the most sophisticated and romantic train in the world.

Historic Cabin

A comfortable lounge by day with a banquette sofa, footstool and small table converting to an upper and lower bed at night. Toilet facilities available in each carriage.

Suite

Suites have an illustrious décor with an en suite shower room, and either double or twin beds that convert to a lounge area by day. Each Suite has unique designs with intimate detailing, finished exquisitely.

Grand Suite

Featuring double or twin beds, a living area and a private en suite shower room. Grand Suites are individually designed to provide ultimate luxury and ample room.
